Research Interests
Dr. Donaldson's primary research interests are in integrating clinical and cognitive neuroscience methods to investigate the mechanisms underlying cognitive functioning and sensory processing in psychotic disorders. She is particularly focused on how such mechanisms inform the course of psychotic symptom progression over time. Primary methods used in Dr. Donaldson's research include electroencephalography (EEG), magnetoencephalography (MEG), functional neuroimaging, and translational behavioral paradigms. By increasing understanding of these mechanisms and their temporal dynamics, Dr. Donaldson aims to inform the development of more effective and timely intervention for psychotic psychopathology.
