Build Your Personal Health PlanYour team will work with you to build a plan with smart goals and a combination of clinical care and Well-being Programs to fit your needs. This plan will be designed to help you meet your individual goals — helping you achieve what matters most to you! Your personal health plan may include professional care such as whole health clinical care, and complementary and integrative health approaches, such as acupuncture, yoga, tai chi, the arts, and humanities. Your plan will also include self-care and the things you commit to doing to support your health and your personal mission in life.

“We are mere consultants, our Veterans know their bodies, they know what is right for them, they know what is best for them. We as clinicians know medicine, nursing, social work, behavioral health. We try to marry those two together,” says Raymond Bowne, the Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System Veterans Health Education Coordinator. “The Veterans knows what is best for them and we have recommendations on how they can optimize their health and wellness. Hopefully we come together in a way that the Veteran says, ‘You know what? That is a great opportunity. That is a great idea. I want to run with it.’”
