Set Your Goal
Now that you have identified what matters most to you, you can use this information to help you set goals to improve your health and well-being.
A goal not only motivates us to make changes, but it provides a way to track our progress. Working on goals builds skills and confidence that can filter through to other areas of life.
For Michelle, a Marine Corps Veteran, the number one goal was going back to school. “I love school. I’m a pretty big nerd. And I pretty much embrace that.... I want to go back and give back by going back to school and getting my Ph.D. and getting a job that I really care about.”
Aligning your health with your day-to-day goals and life aspirations is a critical component of whole health. Whole health is an approach that empowers and equips you to take charge of your health and well-being, and to live your life to the fullest.
