Supervisor and Manager Refresher Training Program
The Supervisory and Manager Refresher Training Program (SMR) is one of two courses in VA’s Supervisor Training Program that assists supervisors in improving their leadership and management skills. SMR provides periodic refresher training for established VA supervisors and leaders. It is competency-aligned training that aims to help supervisors improve performance, productivity, and employee satisfaction within their team and the organization. All course content and activities are completed in VA’s Talent Management System (TMS).
This training provides supervisors and managers ongoing professional development opportunities that comply with Federal regulations (5 CFR Part 412, 38 USC 4335, EO 13518, EO 13548, 29 CFR 1960.55, and EO 12564).
