Team Albany shines at Golden Age Games

Team Albany Shines at National Veterans Golden Age Games earlier this month in Memphis, Tennessee.
The dedicated athletes represented the Albany VA with commendable dedication, determination, and sportsmanship as they participated in events such as Air Rifle, Air Pistol, Badminton, Boccia, Corn Hole, Horseshoe, Shot Putt, Discus, Javelin, Pickleball, Golf, Fly Fishing, Billiards, Basketball Free Throw, and Table Tennis.
Training throughout the year for this prestigious event, Team Albany achieved remarkable success. Congratulations to the team for earning multiple accolades; Discus & Shot Putt (GOLD), Pickleball (SILVER), Javelin, Billiards, Boccia (BRONZE). Team Albany also placed fourth in Golf and Basketball Free Throws and finished sixth in Air Rifle. We applaud Team Albany for their outstanding performance and unwavering spirit at the games.
