Deb has been with the VA since 1990, starting at Lebanon VA Medical Center in Lebanon, PA and now here at Altoona.
During her time in VA, she has served as a staff nurse working throughout multiple inpatient and outpatient areas. She has been in Quality Management since 2004 serving in the roles of Accreditation Specialist, Utilization Review Nurse, State Veterans Home Liaison, External Peer Review Program Liaison, and has previously served as the Interim Chief, Quality and Patient Safety.
Deb graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and later with a Master of Science Degree in Nursing, as a Clinical Nurse Specialist, Community Health Nursing. Deb is also a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ).
