Mr. Haycisak has served 4 years with the Veterans Health Administration.
In June 2020, he started his VA career by joining the James E Van Zandt VA Medical Center as the Clinic Nurse Manager, Hospital Based Outpatient Clinics. He has previous experience of nearly 20 years in Outpatient/Inpatient Surgery, Rehabilitation, and Ambulatory Care Services. In October 2020, he became the Chief Nurse of the Outpatient Service. In this role, he oversees all clinical operations and nursing practices of the Hospital Based Outpatient Clinics, Pain Clinic, Home Based Primary Care, Chemotherapy/Infusion Clinic, Ambulatory Surgery Clinic, Specialty Clinics, Mental Health Nursing, and five Community Based Outpatient Clinics.
Mr. Haycisak holds an Associate of Science Degree in Nursing, Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Mount Aloysius College in Cresson, PA, and a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Leadership in Healthcare Systems from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ. He graduated with Honors BSN and MSN and has a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma.
