Women's Clinic Virtual Town Hall Summary

Thank you to all our Veterans who participated in the Women's Clinic Virtual Townhall Thursday, February 13th from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. We had 1,145 total attendees and over 100 questions screened.

We asked the audience several poll questions during the call.

Question 1: What interests you most about the Whole Health program?

30% said the personalized approach

25% said the unique services available

45% said the potential to improve other health factors

Question 2: What is your greatest healthcare concern right now?

33% said wait time

40% said access to care

12% utilizing telehealth or other virtual care

15% difficulty keeping up with routine health screenings

Question 3: In the last year, have you experienced or witnessed harassment during your time  at a VAAAHS site?

9% said Yes

91% said No

 

A wide range of topics were discussed during call including questions pertaining to the Women’s Clinic, Whole Health, specialty care, health screening recommendations, clinical and administrative support processes, eligibility updates, PACT Act changes, and toxic exposure screening.
