Partnering to Success Convening Series
We are leading the nation in telemedicine advancement.
As the largest integrated healthcare system in the United States, the VA
provides telehealth at more than 900 sites across the country in over 50 areas of
specialty care. In 2017, 45 percent of Veteran who received care via telehealth
lived in rural areas, yet many Veterans are limited from this option due to
lack of availability of reliable connectivity or technology.
The Department of Veterans Affairs convened an unprecedented and diverse
gathering of the nation's leading industry, government, and non-profit thought
leaders to develop solutions that will increase connectivity and access
to telemedicine for Veterans.
Anywhere to Anywhere, Together fostered innovation, as well as facilitated national,
partnership-based solutions to promote forward-thinking dialogue and collaboration
among world-class remote care leadership. Through accelerated teamwork
and partnering exercises, the event boldy identified critical
solutions related to digital access, connectivity, and telehealth delivery systems.
Anywhere to Anywhere was designed not only to serve Vetrans, but to ultimately
serve all Americans as healthcare delivery systems continue to evolve and
shift with technology.
