The Western North Carolina VA Creative Arts Festival is a vibrant celebration of Veterans’ creativity and healing through the arts. Hosted by the Charles George VA Medical Center, this annual local festival is part of the National Veterans Creative Arts Competition and Festival, providing Veterans with an opportunity to showcase their talents and share their personal journeys of recovery through art, music, dance, drama, and creative writing.

Veterans enrolled in VA health care are invited to participate and display their works, many of which reflect personal experiences, past traumas, or unique perspectives shaped by military service. The festival not only recognizes artistic achievement but also highlights the therapeutic benefits of creative expression as a vital part of rehabilitation and well-being.
