Dr. Joseph Genualdi is originally from Tampa, FL and has joined the AVAHCS after serving five years in the United States Air Force.
Dr. Genualdi completed a B.S. in Biological Sciences at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA. For his doctorate, he graduated with honors from the College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Des Moines University in Iowa. Dr. Genualdi completed his PMSR/RRA surgical residency training at the University Hospital of Newark, NJ, the teaching hospital for Rutgers University. After graduation, he spent one year practicing in the private sector prior to being accepted into the USAF.
He served two tours as a Podiatric Surgeon being stationed in the National Capital Region and Germany. Dr. Genualdi is certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery in Foot and Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle surgery. Dr. Genualdi is married, with two daughters, and enjoys spending his free time playing golf, tennis, hunting and fishing.
