A Decade of Partnership: Warrior Care Network® and VHA Celebrate 10 Years of Impact

On February 4, 2026, the Warrior Care Network® and the VA marked the 10th anniversary of their landmark Memorandum of Agreement , a milestone that reflects a decade of collaboration dedicated to improving mental health care for Veterans and service members.
This national MOA enables all VHA facilities to work seamlessly with WCN sites across the country, including the Joseph Maxwell Cleland Atlanta VA Health Care System and the Emory Healthcare Veterans Program (EHVP). At the time it was signed, the agreement was only the second of its kind between VHA and a national organization, underscoring its groundbreaking nature and the shared vision behind it.
The partnership formalized a commitment to expanding access to world-class, evidence-based mental health care while ensuring continuity between treatment received through the Warrior Care Network® and ongoing care within VHA. Together, WCN and VHA have worked to ensure veterans receive the right care, at the right time, in a coordinated and supportive system.
“Over the past decade, this partnership has allowed us to combine rigorous, evidence-based mental health care with a truly collaborative approach,” said Dr. Sheila Rauch, Director of Mental Health Research and Program Evaluation at the Atlanta VA Health Care System. “By working closely with the Warrior Care Network and the Emory Healthcare Veterans Program, we are able to provide veterans with seamless, high-quality care that supports recovery, resilience, and long-term well-being.”
Over the past ten years, this collaboration has supported EHVP and VHA in helping more than 3,500 veterans and service members find hope, transform their lives, and reconnect with the people and passions that matter most.
As we celebrate this 10-year milestone, we are proud of what this partnership has made possible and remain deeply committed to expanding access to care and improving the lives of Veterans and their families for years to come.
