Veterans and family members enjoyed Army Field Band and Soldiers’ Chorus perform free concert

The House of Hope Atlanta hosted a free public concert with The U.S. Army Field Band and Soldiers’ Chorus on Sunday, March 12.  “It is always a thrill to attend a concert like this with a good mix of music for every age group,” said one Army Veteran who attended the event with his 10-year-old son.

The one-hour concert, which also featured the singing of the National Anthem by singer Reginal Belle, included jazz, rock, country, pop, and patriotic musical performances.

"As usual, the Army Field band members were outstanding, " said another Veteran who served in the Marines for more than 20 years. "When you come to something like this," he said, "you can't leave without being uplifted."

Special thanks to the Atlanta VA Healthcare System Center for Development and Civic Engagement (CDCE) and AARP for their collaborative effort to make this event possible.
