Atlanta VA Health Care System Marks National Engineers Week 2026

National Engineers Week shines a spotlight on the profound impact engineering professionals have on our daily lives, from the design and upkeep of essential facility infrastructure to the innovations that support quality health care for Veterans. 

At Atlanta VAHCS, engineers are the unsung heroes working behind the scenes to maintain and improve the systems that support patient care across our 22 sites of care. Their expertise touches nearly every aspect of the organization, from building maintenance and complex infrastructure upgrades to safety systems that ensure Veterans and staff alike can rely on a secure, efficient environment.
