Sons of the American Revolution continue donations to AVAHCS
The funds are given to support women Veterans during the holidays.
The Piedmont Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution (Roswell, GA) recently provided a $5,000 donation to the executive leadership of the Atlanta VA Healthcare System.
The funds are given to support women Veterans during the holidays.
“We are pleased to support your operation by raising money for women Veterans in the Atlanta area. This is our fourth year supporting your tremendous mission—the total funds presented to your operation for years one through three equal $20,000,” shared Rob Ufford of the SAR Piedmont Chapter.
This partnership is important for the Veterans it serves.
“The partnership with this VSO is more than just alliances, they're shared missions with resounding impact,” shared Gwendolyn Ramos, AVAHCS Chief of the Center for Development &Civic Engagement. “We teamed up with community to co-create lasting change for our women Veterans and this donation is just one way to show it”.
