VA Augusta to host Women Veterans Coffee Social in Barnwell, S.C.

“These socials are great for exposing women Veterans to the resources available to them, not only through VA Augusta Health Care System, but across the community,” said Ashley Lee, Community Engagement and Partnership Coordinator for VA Augusta. “It’s important women Veterans realize there is a wide array of holistic, high-quality care at VA Augusta and other Veteran support agencies.”

VA Augusta Health Care System employs about 2,700 employees who serve more than 50,000 unique Veteran patients each year in Georgia and South Carolina. In addition to the two Medical Centers in Augusta, the health care system operates three outpatient clinics in Aiken, South Carolina, and Athens and Statesboro, Georgia.
