VA Augusta Health Care System celebrates successful CARF Accreditation for 2024/2025
In a remarkable achievement, the VA Augusta Health Care System proudly announces the successful completion of its recent CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) surveys for years 2024 and 2025.
This significant accomplishment reaffirms the institution's unwavering commitment to excellence in rehabilitation services.
The dedicated team at VA Augusta worked diligently to meet the stringent standards established by CARF, resulting in outstanding performance across multiple service areas. The comprehensive assessments reviewed a total of 6,600 standards, leading to only 18 recommendations—a clear testament to the organization's focus on quality care and continuous improvement.
Highlights of the Accreditation:
Blind Rehabilitation & Vocational Rehabilitation Services: 1,300 standards with only 4 recommendations.
Domiciliary (DOM), Psychosocial Rehabilitation & Recovery Center (PRRC), Intensive Community Mental Health Recovery (ICMHR) and Health Care for Homeless Veterans (HCHV): 1,600 standards reviewed with 1 recommendation.
