We had a great turnout for our Breast Cancer Awareness event at VA Bedford Crossroads today!

It was wonderful to see so many Veterans, staff, and visitors come together wearing pink to honor those impacted by breast cancer.

Throughout the day, we provided education on breast cancer risks, treatment, and the SERVICE Act which allows more Veterans to receive breast cancer screening. We also heard incredible stories from survivors and those supporting loved ones battling breast cancer.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this event a success! We are committed to supporting our women Veterans and increasing awareness about breast cancer risks and screenings. Please reach out to your VA provider to assess your risk and schedule your mammogram. Early detection saves lives! #BreastCancerAwareness
