BEDFORD, Massachusetts--VA Bedford now offers drive-up COVID testing for Veterans in a new location in the parking lot between the main hospital entrance at building 2 (red steps) and the library, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Upon arrival, Veterans will park in the spots designated by bright yellow signs, call the number posted on the signs in each spot: 781-687-4000, and a health care professional will come out to perform the swab.

Veterans should factor in up to a 45-minute appointment cycle for rapid antigen tests, with results available on site; otherwise, they will be notified of their COVID test results by their clinical team.

Veterans getting a PCR test may leave afterwards and will be notified of their results by their clinical team.

Veterans who routinely used the handicapped parking in lot 7 may now parkin the newly designated handicapped parking in front of building 1.
