Please be aware of the current renovations for the Birmingham Outpatient Clinic (Annex) Parking deck over the next six to seven months. Contractors will initiate construction from the top of the parking deck, progressing downwards through each floor in the following weeks and months.

COL (Ret) George M. Gibson DDS is the Director of the Birmingham VA AEGD 1 yr Program since March 2021.

Born in Boone, North Carolina, Dr. Gibson grew up in Jefferson City, Tennessee where he graduated from Carson Newman University. He graduated from dental school from the University of Tennessee Memphis Center for the Health Sciences and then served 30 years in the U.S. Army in the dental profession. Dr. Gibson has an active dental license in Tennessee and Alabama. He is an American Board of General Dentistry Diplomate and is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and Academy of Operative Dentistry.
