Sonic Automotive and EchoPark Automotive donate gift bags to Veterans at Birmingham VA
Team members from Sonic Automotive and EchoPark delivered “big green bags of cheer” to Veterans at the Birmingham VA Health Care System.
Sonic Automotive and EchoPark joined with Cheeriodicals, a Birmingham-based team building company. They delivered more than 150 duffle bags filled with special blankets, beverage tumblers, patriotic magazines/activities books, and numerous convenience items created specifically for our Veterans.
“Thank you to Cheeriodicals, Sonic Automotive, and EchoPark for donating such thoughtful and useful gifts to our Veterans,” said Dr. Oladipo Kukoyi, BVAHCS Executive Director. “Your generosity brings cheer to our Veterans and inspires our community.”
Since 2015, Cheeriodicals has donated more than 35,000 gift bags to Veterans at more than 50 VA facilities. The national corporate team building company is based in Birmingham and conducts philanthropic events benefiting children’s hospitals, Veterans hospitals, assisted living residents, and other charity organizations.
