Located at the main facility in Butler, Pennsylvania is the Virtual Health Resource Center (VHRC).
Check out this Q&A from the Butler VA Connected Care Team to learn about the VHRC and how it can help you!
Q: What is VHRC?
A: The Virtual Health Resource Center (VHRC) provides walk-in and scheduled appointments for assistance with personal or VA-loaned device set-ups, step-by-step instructions for performing VA Video Connection (VVC), test calls with Telehealth staff to ensure VVC success, benefits of VVC convenience, and troubleshooting common connection issues.
Q: Where is the VHRC located and when is it open?
A: The VHRC is located through the front doors, make a left into Registration, and the VHRC desk is on the right. VHRC is open for assistance Monday through Friday, from 9am-3pm.
Q: What is Telehealth?

Q: Can Veterans access video visit appointments through their MyHealtheVet account?
A: Veterans can track their upcoming VA video appointments, receive email reminders for video visit appts, and click a link to the VA video visit in the "appointments” page to start their VA video appointment! Please visit www.myhealth.va.gov for online information
Veterans, their family members, and caregivers can receive in-person support at the VHRC. In fact, Veterans can stop by for multiple visits, like Rob Johnson, U.S. Navy Veteran has done.
“I came back more than once for help with my tablet. After it was explained, it was easier to use. Due to my ignorance, your assistance made my ignorance more intelligent. Some guys don’t want to show up because it may be embarrassing but it was very easy to get help,” he shared.
VA staff are available for in-person support at the VHRC, and walk-ins are welcomed—stop by today!
“Our goal is to meet you where you are with your technology needs – no matter your skill level – and ensure you are comfortable with VA’s virtual care tools: VA Video Visits, Home Telehealth Remote Patient Monitoring, My HealtheVet website, and VA Mobile Apps,” shared Emma Birckbichler, Telehealth Clinical Technician.
