  • Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System or CAVHCS, held several tree-lighting ceremonies to spread holiday cheer for Veterans in Columbus, Georgia, Tuskegee and Montgomery, Alabama.

  • Central Alabama VA participated in a nationwide Onboarding Surge Event to expedite selected candidates through the onboarding process. This event fast-tracked candidates’ onboarding experience by coordinating all required pre-employment actions into a single-day event.

  • Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System or CAVHCS received four accreditation letters from The Joint Commission. Achieving accreditations demonstrates a commitment to continuous improvement in patient care.

  • Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System fire medic Anthony Williams and firefighter Thomas Green were delivering government vehicles for maintenance in the nearby town of Tallassee, Alabama, but there was a slight change of plans.
