Dr. James Detorre is an orthopedic surgeon with over four decades of experience, specializing in the treatment of knee arthritis and knee replacement surgery. He has been practicing since 1982 and has served Veterans at the Charleston VA since 2010.
Dr. Detorre earned both his Bachelor of Arts and Doctor of Medicine degrees at the University of North Carolina before completing his residency in orthopedic surgery at Wake Forest University. He is skilled in advanced surgical techniques, including robotic-assisted knee replacement, providing patients with precise and individualized care.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Detorre enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid outdoorsman.
