Mr. Olayer is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist with the Ralph H. Johnson VA Health Care System.
Having joined the VA in 2017, Mr. Olayer provides Anesthesia Services to Veterans at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center in downtown Charleston. In this role, he is responsible for providing anesthesia in the operating room as well as procedural sites throughout the hospital and is passionate about taking care of the men and women who have served in our armed forces.
Before joining the VA, he worked at the Medical University of South Carolina and Roper St. Francis Hospital providing anesthesia care to the community. Mr. Olayer earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh in 2001 and his Master of Science in Health Science from Allegheny Valley School of Anesthesia in 2010.
