Ms. Shoemaker is a Certified Registered Anesthetist with the Ralph H. Johnson VA Health Care System in Charleston SC.
Having joined the VA in 2019, Ms. Shoemaker provides anesthesia to veterans in the Charleston area.
In this role, she is responsible for providing anesthesia services throughout the hospital. She is passionate about providing excellent care for our nation's heroes. Before joining the VA, she worked at St. Francis Hospital, East Cooper Hospital and Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah. In 2005, Ms. Shoemaker earned her Masters in Nurse Anesthesia from MUSC.
