Tara Kemp is a Nurse Anesthetist for the Ralph H. Johnson VA Health Care System

Mrs. Kemp is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist with the Ralph H. Johnson VA Health Care System. Having joined the VA in 2019, Mrs. Kemp provides Anesthesia Services to Veterans at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center in downtown Charleston. In this role, she is responsible for providing a variety of anesthesia services and is passionate about providing excellent, safe, and compassionate care to our country’s Veterans, motivated by a deep respect for their service and a desire to give back to those who have sacrificed for their country. Mrs. Kemp earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgia Southern University in 1995 and her Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2003. Before joining the VA, she worked at Greenville Memorial Hospital and St Francis Hospital as a staff CRNA. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and is an avid reader.
