The Chillicothe VA Pharmacy is Going Paperless

At the Chillicothe VA, we believe that Veteran privacy is important. To help protect that privacy, we are going digital with medication information.
Starting in December 2025, Veterans picking up prescriptions at the Chillicothe Pharmacy will no longer receive printed medication information. Instead, your prescription will have a QR code located on the prescription label. By scanning this code with a smartphone, you will be directed to a website with the most up-to-date information on that medication. A printed copy of medication information is available upon request.
To view your medication information:
- Locate your QR code on your prescription label
- Open your iPhone or Android camera app, or any other QR code reader, and hold the camera 6 inches above the QR code to scan
- Click the drop-down link to watch a short video and see other information regarding your medication
