Greg Norton

Greg Norton, MBA, FACHE, joins the Detroit VA Healthcare System from the Eastern Oklahoma VA Healthcare System, where he served as Assistant Director. During his tenure in Oklahoma, Mr. Norton successfully opened several Community Based Outpatient Clinics, optimized operational efficiencies to reduce costs, and expanded vital community partnerships.  

More recently, Mr. Norton served as the interim Deputy Director at the Miami VA and interim Associate Director at the Dayton VA. His extensive leadership background includes several progressive management roles at the VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System, spanning both clinical and administrative services. These experiences have shaped his expertise in operations, performance improvement, and organizational change.  

Mr. Norton holds an MBA from Cleveland State University and is a graduate of the Healthcare Leadership Development program (2023). He is a board-certified Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) and holds certifications as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Prosci Change Management professional.
