Roseburg VA Health Care System
The Roseburg VA Health Care System (RVAHCS) is an organization consisting of a Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) medical center located in Roseburg, OR, and VA clinics located in Eugene, Brookings, and North Bend, OR.
RVAHCS offers primary care, surgical, long-term care, and mental health inpatient and outpatient services to eligible veterans who reside in Central and Southern Oregon (Douglas, Lane, Coos and Curry Counties) and Northern California (Del Norte County). RVAHCS also operates the Downtown Eugene VA Clinic, consisting of a Homeless Program, Homeless Housing Program with the Department of Health and Human Services (HUD/VASH), and Substance Abuse and Vocational Rehabilitation services.
Specialty services not provided by RVAHCS are offered through the Portland VA Health Care System or through Community Care in our primary service areas.
Accreditations: Join Commission, Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), and Long Term Care Institute (LTCI).
Affiliations: RVAHCS has over 30 active Affiliation Agreements for both Associated Health and Undergraduate (UME)/Graduate Medical Education (GME) Programs. Affiliation Programs include Masters of Social Work (MSW), Nursing (LPN/RN/NP), Pharmacy students and Residents, Optometry, Speech Pathology, Occupational and Physical Therapy, Audiology, Clinical Lab Science, Registered Dietician, Physician Assistant (PA), Internal Medicine/Psych (UME), GME Geriatrics, and GME Family Practice.
