Ryan Baker was appointed as the Assistant Medical Center Director in May, 2021.
Mr. Ryan Baker was appointed Associate Medical Center Director, VA Roseburg Healthcare System January 21, 2018. Mr. Baker oversees the following services: Facilities Management, Health Administration, Fiscal, Supply Chain Mgt, Human Resources, Environmental Management, Food and Nutrition, and Voluntary and Police Services.
Prior to his current appointment, Mr. Baker served as the VA Roseburg Healthcare System Chief Financial Officer, from September 2014 to December 2017, where he managed the Fiscal Service and the Business Office.
Before joining the Veterans HealthCare Administration, Mr. Baker was the Chief, Financial Plans & Process Improvement Branch of the Air Force Global Strike Command at Barksdale Air Force Base, where he implemented policies and procedures for accomplishment of the commands financial programs. Mr. Baker’s previous assignments also included the Chief, Stability Support Division at US Southern Command HQ in Miami, Florida; Budget Analyst for the Department of the Air Force at the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia; and Budget Analyst for Air Force Research Lab, Space Vehicles Directorate at Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico. Mr. Baker is a Veteran of the United States Air Force, and a graduate of Webster University, with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial/ Organizational Psychology from Louisiana Tech University, along with a Bachelor’s Degree in Justice Administration from Hawaii Pacific University.
