CWT: Access to Meaningful Jobs for All- Every Month, Every Year!
VHA Vocational Rehabilitation Service programs are recovery-oriented clinical vocational rehabilitation services and offer therapeutic work services, including skill development and assistance with obtaining and maintaining employment for Veterans for whom the primary objective is competitive employment.
Hear from Veterans how CWT has empowered them:
“Through having a sponsor and working that particular 12-step program, my life began to take on new meaning. I began to have an actual relationship with God that I had never imagined.
Through the Salvation Army I learned of a Veterans Sober Living facility and after completing the 6 month program with the Salvation Army Adult Recovery Center I moved there for the next 5 months of my new found sobriety. While there the liaison from the VA asked me about my plans for the future and my reply was to stay sober and get a job. She promptly gave me the number of a VA resource that would help. When that gentleman found out that I was serious about work he actually got in his car and was there the same day to give me a ride to a temporary job service that was excellent and would keep me working until I found a permanent position. I applied at a veteran-friendly national retailer and was hired.. In the last year and a half, through a God given work ethic, I have been promoted twice and am still employed there today.” – Anonymous Veteran
