EOVAHCS Homeless Veteran Outreach Program successfully placed 259 Veterans through the Getting Veterans Off the Street initiative.
The EOVAHCS Homeless Veteran Outreach Program continues to work to work towards reducing the number of unhoused Veterans in our community. Through their work, they successfully placed 259 Veterans through the Getting Veterans Off the Street initiative.
“This is life-changing and in many cases life-saving work,” said Kimberly Denning, DNP, RN, Medical Center Director. “We are proud of the progress Eastern Oklahoma VA Health Care System is making to get Veterans off the streets and are redoubling our efforts to continue this momentum moving forward.”
A huge thank you to The Cleveland American for shedding light on this important work. And a huge thank you to our Homeless and CWT Program Manager, Melanie Stewart, for leading this amazing team.
