Tulsa extreme temperature plan activated

Cooling stations and will be operating all summer
On July 22, 2025, Tulsa Area Emergency Management agency (TAEMA) activated the extreme temperature plan to phase 3, officially activating cooling stations for the Tulsa community. The following locations are open and available as cooling stations and will be operating all summer as cooling stations for the public.
• John 3:16, 906 N. Cheyenne Ave., 2134 N. Madison Pl. – 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
• Salvation Army, 102 N. Denver Ave. – 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
• Tulsa Day Center, 415 W Archer- 8am-4pm
• Tulsa County Social Services, 2301 Charles Page Blvd. – 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
The public can also take advantage of other public facilities such as Libraries, Bus Terminals, shopping centers, and theaters to help beat the heat. TAEMA is monitoring the situation and may request the opening of additional cooling stations if the need arises.
