Dr. Perry began serving as the Interim Chief of Staff at the Fayetteville NC VA Coastal Health Care System on May 1, 2025.
Prior to this, she had an impressive career as the Interim Chief of the Emergency Department, and then as the Chief of the Emergency Department from September 2023 until May 2025. Her journey in the Emergency Department started in 2021 as a staff physician, and she later advanced to the role of Deputy Chief in March 2022.
Dr. Perry is board-certified in Emergency Medicine and is a recognized fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. She earned her medical degree from the Brody School of Medicine in Greenville, NC, and completed her residency at Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY. Furthermore, she holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Health Care from Methodist University in Fayetteville, NC.
Dr. Perry is an engaged member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and is certified with a Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma. Additionally, she is a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
