Outstanding Performance by Team Fayetteville at the 44th National Veterans Wheelchair Games in Minneapolis

The 44th National Veterans Wheelchair Games wrapped up in Minneapolis after six days filled with competition, connection, and camaraderie.

Co-hosted by the VA and Paralyzed Veterans of America, the event showcased 537 Veteran athletes from across the nation competing in more than 20 adaptive sports events. These included basketball, softball, rugby, cycling, archery, disc golf, pickleball, 9-ball, boccia, powerlifting, and swimming.

Team Fayetteville

Mr. Ronald Richardson competed in: Air Rifle at home-earning a Gold Medal; Bowling-Silver Medal; Boccia Ball-Silver Medal; Table Tennis-Silver Medal; Disc Golf-Silver Medal.

Ms. Takeyla Adams competed in: Cornhole; Boccia; Bowling-Bronze Medal; 9 Ball-Gold Medal; Table Tennis-Silver Medal.

Mr. Charles Bradley competed in: Motorized Slalom-Gold Medal; Boccia-Gold Medal; Bowling-Silver Medal.

Mr. Freddie Smith competed in: Wheelchair Softball-Bronze Medal; Wheelchair Basketball; Boccia; Field-shot put, discus, javelin; and 9 Ball-Bronze Medal.
