Mrs. Lee-Sellers joined the Indianapolis VA Medical Center as the Assistant Director in January 2012 bringing years of clinical and administrative expertise.

Most recently, she served as the Acting Director, Office of Specialty Care Transformation, standing-up a new T21 department that transforms Specialty Care to a patient-centric system in which the Veteran is the driver of health care delivery. She developed the strategic plan that defines and facilitates Specialty Care Services programs interface with Primary Care and the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) to ensure the delivery of services across VHA and Veterans Administration (VA) are coordinated, timely, accessible, and high quality.

Prior to that, Mrs. Lee-Sellers was the Chief Recreation Therapy Service at the Northport VA Medical Center, providing leadership and administration for Recreation Therapy at the medical center, outpatient clinics, home based primary care and in the community. Because of her expertise, she was often called upon to serve as the Acting Associate Director, participating as a full member of the Senior Management Team.

Mrs. Lee-Sellers has been active in Minority Veterans Programs, serving as a coordinator while Chief Recreation Therapy. She has also been active with EEO programs, serving as an EEO Counselor as well as a Program Manager for EEO programs.

Mrs. Lee-Sellers has a Bachelor of Science from Virginia Commonwealth University majoring in Recreation for Special Populations and Therapeutic Recreation. She has attained a Minor in Psychology. She is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS). Mrs. Lee-Sellers is a 2008 graduate of Executive Career Field Candidate Development Program and a 2006 graduate of Leadership VA. Mrs. Lee-Sellers has received numerous awards for leadership and innovation and has served on many committees, review teams and advisory groups.
