Indianapolis Public Cooling Centers are Available

With the summer heat comes the need for safe spaces to cool down.

Indianapolis public buildings are open and can be accessed to cool down from the heat. Indy Parks and Rec have a list of Cooling Centers on their website: https://parks.indy.gov/extremeweather/

  • Krannert Park’s splash pad will be closed this summer due to the construction on the new playground, pond, and other site improvements.
