May 14, 2024, The National Veterans Awareness Ride will make a stop at the Iowa City VA Medical Center (ICVAMC) on Monday, May 20, 2024, for an annual visit with local Veterans.
IOWA CITY, IA – May 9, 2024 The Iowa City VA Medical Center (ICVAMC) will be honoring the sacrifices military spouses have made by handing out flowers and performing a complementary vow renewal on May 10 for Pat and Larry Heid, a native Iowan military couple.
The Department of Veterans Affairs announced that Veteran trust in the Iowa City VA Medical Center has risen to 94% — up from 90.2% in 2018 (the first year since VA began conducting this survey). Additionally, nationwide trust in VA outpatient care has increased to 91.8% — up from 85.6% in 2018.
