Join us for the upcoming Community Mental Health Summit—an engaging virtual event focused on promoting mental wellness, building resilience, and reducing the stigma around mental health. Hosted by the VA, this recovery-focused event serves as an upstream suicide prevention initiative and offers practical tools to support whole health and well-being.

Attendees will experience demonstrations in Mindful Meditation led by a VHA Psychologist, Tai Chi with a Whole Health practitioner, and Leisure Skills activities guided by a Recreation Therapist. VA Peer Specialists will also share personal insights on mental health recovery and the importance of seeking help.

Open to Veterans, family members, VA staff, and community partners, the summit aims to raise awareness, expand understanding of recovery-oriented care, and empower attendees with strategies to support mental and emotional health.
