At the G. V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi, compassionate care and clinical excellence go hand in hand.
On November 10, Nurse Practitioner Jennifer Watson demonstrated both through her attentive service, professionalism, and genuine dedication to patient well-being.
Although Johnson had some concerns before the appointment, those quickly faded after meeting Ms. Watson. “She possesses exceptional skills and a warm and engaging personality,” Johnson said. “Her professionalism was evident throughout our interaction.”
Ms. Watson’s care reflected all five of the VA’s I CARE core values: Integrity, Commitment, Advocacy, Respect, and Excellence. Her ability to provide high-quality care while making patients feel heard and respected is a true example of what the VA stands for.
