Congratulations to our DAISY Nurse Leader Award Recipient — Levin Jones, RN, MPH/HCA, NE-BC!

We are so proud to celebrate Levin Jones as our DAISY Nurse Leader of the Year — a recognition that couldn't go to a more deserving individual.

From the moment Levin stepped into his role, he was faced with the challenge of leading a significant culture change — one that would have discouraged many. Instead, he remained steady, focused, and solutions-oriented. His mindset was clear: "Keep the main thing the main thing" — and that level of resilience set the tone for his entire team.

What truly distinguishes Levin's leadership is his ability to recognize and cultivate potential in others. He doesn't just solve problems for his team — he challenges them to solve problems themselves. He actively mentors, empowers, and creates intentional opportunities for his staff to lead, grow, and build confidence.

One powerful example speaks volumes: a long-tenured team member who had never pursued leadership despite having the capability. Through Levin's encouragement, trust, and strategic support, she gradually stepped into leadership — and today, she successfully serves in a leadership capacity. A direct reflection of his investment in his people.

Levin leads with fairness, honesty, and consistency — creating a culture where staff feel seen, heard, and valued. He listens more than he speaks, and fosters trust and transparency in every interaction.
