Brain Injury Awareness Month is in March to bring awareness for prevention of brain injury as well as to promote that individuals are not alone and that services are available.

Brain Injury Awareness Month is in March to bring awareness for prevention of brain injury as well as to promote that individuals are not alone and that services are available. Everyone affected by brain injury has a story to tell, and no matter where you are on your brain injury journey, your story deserves to be told. Lexington VA has an interdisciplinary clinic for outpatient rehabilitation serving Acquired Brain Injury and Traumatic Brin Injury. We are experts in providing neurologic rehabilitation, supporting Veterans with meeting their functional goals.

Freddie Maggard did not know he was suffering from TBI (traumatic brain injury) until he walked into the VA in Lexington with a bottle of ibuprofen and a rosary.

From that moment, his doctor set him up with an entire care team that helped Freddie get his life back.

They can do the same for Veterans like you.
