VA Loma Linda Healthcare System’s Clinical Team and Non-Clinical Individual Nominated for the Fourth Quarter 2024 HeRO Awards for VISN 22.
The VA Loma Linda Healthcare System proudly announced that its healthcare team has been honored with two nominations for the Fourth Quarter of 2024 HeRO Awards for VISN 22 in the Clinical Team and Non-Clinical Individual categories.
The Clinical Team is comprised of dedicated healthcare professionals, including Amanda Hayden, Quality Consultant and External Peer Review Coordinator; Patricia Watts, Performance Improvement and Accreditation Consultant; and Suneja Anecia, Program Analyst. In addition, Bruni Matos-Lee, Specialty Nurse, was nominated in the Non-Clinical Individual category. The nominees demonstrated High Reliability Organization (HRO) principles and values.
The National HeRO Awards are part of a broader initiative within the Veteran Health Administration (VHA) that aims to honor extraordinary individuals whose significant contributions propel the organization toward achieving its ambitious goal of becoming a
HRO.
"When you're helping one Veteran, you may not be helping the whole world, but it means the world to that Veteran," said Tina Rojas, High Reliability Organization Site Lead. "The categories of all the nominations are compared with all the other nominations from all the other facilities in VISN 22."
