VA Loma Linda’s Center for Development and Civic Engagement (CDCE) Team received a $50,000 donation from Stater Bros. at the Jerry L. Pettis Memorial Veterans' Hospital October 21 in support of VA’s National Veterans Golden Age Games.

The National Veterans Golden Age Games, scheduled for May 31 – June 5, 2025, in Memphis, Tenn., serves Veterans ages 55 years and older. Through its “Fitness for Life” motto, the Golden Age Games offers sports competitions and health education sessions to demonstrate the value that sports, wellness, and fitness provide to assist Veterans with living an active and healthy lifestyle.
