Robley Rex VA Medical Center Actively Recruiting Advanced Medical Support Assistants

Louisville , KY — Louisville, KY – The Robley Rex VA Healthcare System is actively hiring Advanced Medical Support Assistants that have experience in clinical or medical settings.

Advanced Medical Support Assistants are often the first person a Veteran or family member will come into contact within a VA medical center or community clinic. They help the Veteran get checked in for appointments, schedule appointments, and support Veteran care by and tracking, reviewing, and responding to electronic orders, and consults.

About the Robley Rex VA Healthcare System

The Robley Rex VA Medical Center is a tertiary care facility classified as a Clinical Referral Level 1b Facility. In total, the healthcare system, including eight community-based outpatient clinics, employs over 2,000 people and services nearly 45,000 Veterans in a 35-county area of Kentucky and Indiana.

The Robley Rex VA Medical Center is a teaching hospital that provides a full range of services with state-of-the-art technology as well as education and research. The medical center is also the advanced cardiac life support training hub for most of the residents and many of the critical care nurses in Louisville and the state of Kentucky.
