Louisville Veterans Affairs attends NACVSO 2025 Annual Conference

Deputy Secretary of the VA speaks with Veterans

Robley Rex VA Medical Center attended this year’s NACVSO Annual Conference, where Dr. Paul Lawrence, Deputy Secretary of Veterans Affairs, and Dr. Christopher Saslo, Assistant Under Secretary for Health, addressed the more than 800 VSO leaders who attended.

Staff from the Robley Rex VA Medical Center and the Veterans Benefits Administration provided assistance and information for Veterans and family members at the National Association of County Veterans Service Officers (NACVSO) Annual Conference, which was held in Louisville this year, from July 14 through July 16.

Those who attended the conference were able to get direct support and information from many services offered at the Robley Rex VA Medical Center, and through the the Louisville Region Veterans Benefits Administration.

The Robley Rex VAMC supported the conference with several services including Eligibility/Enrollment, the Women Veterans Program, Telehealth/My HealtheVet, Caregiver Support Program, VHA Nursing Homes, VHA Hospice/Palliative Care, and Veterans Justice Outreach. The VBA Claims Clinic also provided one-on-one assistance to Veterans needing assistance with their claims.

VA staff also delivered presentations and answered questions on Veterans Justice Outreach, VHA Hospice/Palliative Care, VHA Nursing Homes, and Caregiver Support.
