Important Update on Travel Voucher Forms for Marion VA Health Care System Veterans

We have an essential update that we want to make sure reaches every one of you who uses travel forms with the Marion VA Health Care System. Your time and convenience are incredibly important to us, so please take a moment to read about an upcoming change that may affect your travel reimbursements.
What’s Changing?
Starting February 14, 2025, we're transitioning to a new travel voucher form for all travel payments. This means:
- Only the November 2024 version of VA Form 10-3542 will be accepted from that date forward.
- Older versions of the form will no longer be processed after February 14, 2025.
Why Is This Important?
Submitting the correct form is crucial to ensure there are no delays in processing your travel claims. If you submit an old form after the cutoff date:
- We'll have to return it to you with the new form, which means a delay for you.
- Your claim date resets to when we receive the new form, not when you submitted the old one.
We want to help you avoid any unnecessary waiting or confusion.
- How Can You Prepare?

A Little Tip
