April is National Volunteer Appreciation Month and April 17th-21st, more specifically, is VA Volunteer Appreciation Week!

Two Marion VA employees, Recreation Therapist Ethan Blumhorst, and Peer Support Specialist, Quest Nelson, traveled to Colorado for the National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic. Their experience was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to share in their sport with fellow Veterans.

In early March the VFW state and local representatives presented the Center for Development and Civic (CDCE) Engagement (Evansville) with 20 lap quilts for the Chemotherapy Veterans.

On Friday, March 24th, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the Marion VA Health Care System will host a Tea Ceremony for our Veterans and Staff. The event will take place at our Evansville Health Care Center, located in Evansville, Indiana.

A sunny day and a random act of kindness brightens the day at the Marion VA.
