Veterans Day Video Tribute

Rodney Frelinghuysen, a former US Representative from New Jersey, said, “Veterans are a symbol of what makes our nation great, and we must never forget all they have done to ensure our freedom.” This Veterans Day, we honor the men and women from every generation who fought for and protected our freedom, who put their lives on the line, often resulting in lasting physical and mental health challenges.

In solidarity with Veterans, our three medical centers will be illuminated with green light November 3-12, and employees throughout the VA Maryland Health Care System will be wearing green lights on November 10. The green light serves as a beacon of support, reminding Veterans they are not alone.

We’ll also be at the Baltimore City Veterans Day parade on November 8. The parade begins at 12 p.m. at the Washington Monument and ends at the War Memorial Plaza. If you are there, look for us with our Welcome to My VA Maryland Health Care System banner.

On behalf of our dedicated staff and volunteers, I thank our Veteran patients for allowing us to serve their health care needs.

Wishing you a Happy Veterans Day!

Sincerely,

Jonathan R. Eckman, P.E.
